We hope you had a great St. Patrick’s Day! We were looking forward all day yesterday to having dinner at our favorite Irish pub in downtown Franklin – McCreary’s. We had it all planned out…we would meet Bev there at 4:30 to beat the crowd. WRONG! When we got there, the wait was already over an hour! With 3 kiddos, that’s just not going to work. Instead, we went to 55 South restaurant…nothing says Luck of the Irish like a Cajun meal! Anyway, we had fun and to celebrate the boys both getting great report cards we had dessert at Ben and Jerry’s! As you can tell by their faces, they totally enjoyed it!
The boys set this leprechaun trap the night before. Unfortunately, he got away…but not before creating a little mischief by throwing pillows all around the floor and overturning chairs!
That sneaky leprechaun also turned their milk green and left green frosting on their toaster strudels!
Allie and her proud Daddy!
Me and my messy (and sweet) boys!
I wanted to leave you with this Irish Blessing that the kids at school sing at the end of each Mass. It’s a great way to start your day to hear over 400 angelic voices sing this blessing:
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Erin go braugh!

It’s hard to believe it was eight years ago yesterday that we became brand new parents to a sweet, sweet baby boy – Hayden! Time goes by so quickly. It doesn’t seem possible that he is halfway to driving! I love looking back at how he has changed over the years. There are so many things about his looks and personality that have remained unchanged.
Getting all buckled into his car seat ready to leave the hospital!
First Birthday Party! That cake cracks me up. It was supposed to look like stacking cups, which he loved to play with. It looks more like a very colorful Leaning Tower of Pisa!
Not sure what to do with this!
2 Years Old! You can tell he had been crying. He didn’t like riding the motorcycle at My Gym.
3 Years Old! He wasn’t so sure about Chuck E. Cheese!
4 Years Old! He was all about Lightning McQueen!
5 Years Old! All into Star Wars – and still is!
6 Years Old! Football & Peyton Manning fan – and still is!
7 Years Old! Love that toothless grin!
We love you, Hayden! I’ll be posting more pictures from his party later.
Have a great day!
