In addition to sweet pea’s birthday party, we had several things going on in May.
The day after her party, we celebrated Mother’s Day. We went to Mass and then had brunch with both my mom and Bev, along with my sisters and stepdad. I just wanted to get one nice picture of me with my little ones, but instead I got this:
and
That’s just about right for us these days!
Both the boys stayed busy with baseball for about 3 months. In May, we were right in the middle of all the action.
Kyle’s team was the Braves. They had a great season and won the end-of-season tournament. Not too bad for a bunch of mostly 7 year olds playing in a 7-8 age bracket. We were so proud of him and his teammates!
Mr. Short Stop
So proud of his tournament championship trophy!
Hayden played for the Giants this year. This was his first year to play in kid pitch, which was quite a change of pace from the coach and machine pitch seasons of the past. Once he got into the groove of it, he had an awesome season. His team came in first in the regular season play. Again, not too shabby for a team of mostly 9 year olds in a 9-10 league. So proud of those boys, especially that cutie above!
He even got to pitch in a few games! He did great! I, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck. So, so proud of him.
And this little cutie patootie was there for almost every game to cheer her brothers on. For all the hours she has logged at the baseball fields, football fields and basketball courts, the boys know they have many whine-free tea parties ahead of them! They have also been informed that they WILL enjoy the princess meals whenever we return to Disney. She has certainly earned them!
This little girl was also introduced to the wonderful world of My Little Ponies and Barbies thanks to some of the other baseball sisters this season!
And finally, the day we have all been waiting for finally arrived…the last day of school! Here is what was waiting on our little men as they finished up their last day in 1st and 3rd grades:
Ready for a great summer break! Me, too!
And that, was our May.
Thanks for stopping by!
Angela
