Each year, the 4th grade class at the boys' school does a Living Stations of the Cross in preparation for Easter. Stations of the Cross is a series of 14 images around the church which show Jesus on the day of his crucifixion. During a typical Stations, you travel around to each image for contemplation and prayer. When the 4th graders perform the Living Stations of the Cross, they reenact each image for us. Kyle's class did an outstanding job this past week on Holy Thursday. I didn't get many pictures, but I did manage to snap one of Kyle's group reenacting Station 12: Jesus dies on the cross. Kyle was a Roman soldier, and his one of his best buds T was Jesus.
This was such a powerful way to begin Easter weekend and a reminder of Christ's suffering for me.
Blessings,
Angela
